Bello Amancer Week 42

Picture from Elder Bennett

It was the last week before changes and let me just say, what a week! So, as a district we had a lot of baptisms. We beat two zones!!! Crazy! Right?  We finished with 21 baptisms in the month of March.
This past week, Elder Jovel and me had 4 baptisms and one marriage. It was really fun and I have a ton of pictures.
The wedding we had was a girl named Trixie. She is super cool, but man was she hard to teach. She always had something else to talk about. I know God really had a plan for her to be baptized because other missionaries were teaching her but she wasn’t listening. Then, she ended up moving. The day she moved into my area we contacted her house. I know it wasn’t an accident we found her. I know God wanted us there to finish His work.
The other baptisms were 3 little kids named; Luis, Fabiola, and Stephanie. They were really fun to teach but were filled with energy. We have really bonded with them and I’m excited to see where they go in the future.
Hey remember when I talked about Bryan a couple weeks ago? He was the one who I talked to his dad about getting permission. He now has the priesthood and this week he passed the bread and water. It has been awesome to see his growth from a smoker to a worthy priesthood holder.
Besides that stuff this week was really fast and boring, part from all the baptisms. I want to say though that I know that anything is possible if we have faith. I’m also so happy to see that everyone is doing so well. Keep it up family!!!!
Q) Elder Bennett's Mom sent a picture with you in it this morning! It was such a nice surprise! He thinks he might get transferred. You are not finished training are you?

A) He will be transferred which is sad for me and nope I have one change left!

Suckers not cigaretts!

Bello Amancer Week 41

Well, another big HOLA from your Elder Hironaka!!! I wanted to start by saying it really makes my day when I read all the fun things that are going on back home. Life sounds so different, and the pictures, I love seeing you guys. I really want to tell you guys, I really miss and love everyone.
So, this week we had a double mission meeting [combined Mission meeting with the North and South Missions] I was looking all over for Elder Baldwin [a friend from home in the North mission]. I was happy because he looks the same and hasn’t changed very much. It was nice to talk with someone from home. The north mission is really different than the south. We were told to be an hour early and that we couldn’t bring cameras. The north missionaries showed up with cameras and really were a lot more relaxed than us. I really wanted a picture with Elder Baldwin and he got one so ask his mom for the pictures. The meeting was with a member from the 70’s. So, no, news about another Mission opening in Nicaragua.
This week we baptized Aminadar. It was super cool see the progress he has made from day one to now. I hope his family will come back to the church and support him more. It was awesome to see my companion have his first baptism. I remember Marcelo so well when he was baptized and it’s a memory I will never forget.
This next week we should have 4 more baptisms, which I’m super excited for. I love to see the look on their faces after they get baptized.
Today for p-day we played baseball as a district with our investigators and after we made an Americanized breakfast. It was super fun and we had a great day.I love you guys and BE SAFE.

1) Are you healthy?  Super healthy
2) Did you receive your Valentine/St. Patrick's Day package? Yes and I loved it
