Week 76 Ciudad Sandino

What a week................................So I would first like to start out by saying I’m so happy for my little sister Halle!!!!!!! I want to see a lot of pictures of her baptism!!!!
We had a baptism this week as well named Freddy. He served in the war here, and is always telling fun stories. Don’t think I knew about it before the mish, but they had a huge war down here a long time ago that was pretty sad.
Also this week we spent a lot of our time helping out with a teenage boy named Steve. He was born in the States and moved here when he was around 4 years old. He has wanted to be baptized for a long time but has had a lot of big health issues that have been preventing him to go to church. This week we were teaching the plan of salvation to him. When we explained about the three kingdoms of glory we asked him," Steve what is the difference between the sun, moon, and stars?" At this moment I was thinking he was going to tell me the common reply "the light". Unfortunately he responded and told me," well the sun is a very small star its just close by earth, the moon does really have its own light, and the stars we can see here are absolutely huge sun." I laughed pretty had after I heard that haha. He is very very smart and I can’t wait for the day when he is baptized!
I love you Mom, be safe, I love you and I’m very THANKFUL FOR YOU AND THE FAMILY!!!! LOVE YOU

Week 75 Ciudad Sandino

It was cool seeing the pics of Elder Wright getting home. I remember when I was leaving for my mish & Mom you were like, “look Dallin has been out 7 months already”, haha!!! I almost only have 6 months left!

First, we were able to have 2 baptisms this week, Jovel and Francis. Jovel was a chosen investigator. He contacted us in the street and has progressed everyday. He has a desire to know what our Heavenly Father has planned for him. Francis was is a little girl who is the grand daughter of Carlos. I baptized Carlos a month ago and that experience was cool because he confirmed her the day after she was baptized. I know this great gospel can bring everyone together.

So, I think this work really brings and can start up relationships. So Jovel who just got baptized met my other investigator Maria two weeks ago. Yesterday I found out that in the last week they have gone on like 3 dates and yesterday they walked home holding hands and everything. Jovel, even asked when I visited the next time if he could come over with me, haha. If the relationship is like most of the relationships here I think they will get married by the time I leave.

Also this week a new missionary got sent to the hospital to get his appendix taken out... he will stay in the mission but it was a little freaky!!!!!!!

WE'll JUST KEEP ON WORKING!

Hey Everyone!!!! Like always it's your Friendly Neighborhood Elder Hironaka!!!

So this week started with last p-day. The zone has been doing awesome these last couple of weeks so we had an awesome p-day with the mission President. We played soccer and ate pizza. All in all this last p-day was pretty good!!!
We also had the ZL meeting this week. It went really well and I learned a lot from it. I learned that in life people who are really successful are those who fully accept responsibility. I'm very sorry Dad when I talked back and didn't accept what needed to be done.
This week we are planning the baptisms of Jovel and Marialena. They have changed very much in these last 2 weeks and I'm very very proud of them for that!!! It's an honor to see when people change their lives because they know this gospel is true!!!!
Also my new son is like a track super star in long distance, so I'm dying every morning from running, haha.

Ciudad Sandino Week 73

Well Guys its your friendly neighborhood Elder Hironaka!!! I was very happy to see all the fun photos that were taken on this last Halloween!!! I’m very grateful for my wonderful family that I was given by our Heavenly Father!!!

WHAT A WEEK!!
So this week was a crazy week of changes. First thing first my great friend elder Kliener became AP this last week!!!! I'm so happy for him he is going to do a great job.  I didn't get changed which I was very very grateful for. I did however receive a new missionary named Elder Seneca. He is pretty dang cool and came right from high school. He has the desire to work very hard and help others come unto Christ. He is new so he is still learning a lot. Funny little side story is that he wanted to say that he was embarrassed but said, ¨estoy embarazada¨, which means I’m pregnant, haha. It is a normal mistake but it's funny. We were also able to bring many people to church this week. All in all great week!!!!

We are also going to have a baptism this next week for someone named Maria Lena. She is super cool. She has stopped doing things that she never thought she could stop and she is changing her life!!!

Well I'm working hard on a PowerPoint so I'll talk more next week but wanted to say I love you all!!!!! BE SAFE!!!!!!

Your elder,

Elder Hironaka

Yeah Elder Hironaka's package arrived!
