Picture from Elder Bennett |
It was the last week before changes and let
me just say, what a week! So, as a district we had a lot of baptisms. We beat
two zones!!! Crazy! Right? We finished with 21 baptisms in the month of
March.
This past week, Elder Jovel and me had 4
baptisms and one marriage. It was really fun and I have a ton of pictures.
The wedding we had was a girl named Trixie.
She is super cool, but man was she hard to teach. She always had something else
to talk about. I know God really had a plan for her to be baptized because
other missionaries were teaching her but she wasn’t listening. Then, she ended
up moving. The day she moved into my area we contacted her house. I know it
wasn’t an accident we found her. I know God wanted us there to finish His work.
The other baptisms were 3 little kids named;
Luis, Fabiola, and Stephanie. They were really fun to teach but were filled
with energy. We have really bonded with them and I’m excited to see where they
go in the future.
Hey remember when I talked about Bryan a
couple weeks ago? He was the one who I talked to his dad about getting
permission. He now has the priesthood and this week he passed the bread and
water. It has been awesome to see his growth from a smoker to a worthy
priesthood holder.
Besides that stuff this week was really fast
and boring, part from all the baptisms. I want to say though that I know that
anything is possible if we have faith. I’m also so happy to see that everyone
is doing so well. Keep it up family!!!!
LOVE YOU GUYS BE SAFE!!!!
Q) Elder Bennett's Mom sent a picture with
you in it this morning! It was such a nice surprise! He thinks he might get
transferred. You are not finished training are you?
A) He will be transferred which is sad for
me and nope I have one change left!
